[Moller] [Jlab-scicomp-briefs] Scientific Computing Maintenance for electrical work in the Data center - Thursday June 24 2021 1-4pm.

Scientific Computing batch farm and LQCD job execution will be paused this Thursday, June 24 2021 from 1-4pm. The tape library will also be offline during this time. Any jobs that are held will be released for execution at the end of the work. No action is required on the part of the end user.

This maintenance window is scheduled accommodate the following work:

  *   annual electrical maintenance on breakers and UPSes
  *   Load shedding for the annual voluntary power reduction test. This test supports regional grid operator PJM in their preparations to conserve energy as needed during periods of high demand in the warmer summer months.
