Dear MOLLER collaborators,

We are writing to update you on a few topics:

Following a suggestion at the December 2020 collaboration
meeting, we would like to establish collaboration-wide "forums"
to take place every couple months. These will be half-day
remote meetings dedicated to some specific topics that merit
full collaboration updates and discussion. We would like to
propose the first of these for Wednesday
April 21 at 1 - 5 PM Eastern. Tentatively, we
would plan to follow that with a full collaboration meeting in
mid-June and another half day forum in mid August.

For the first forum on Wednesday April 21 at 1 - 5 PM Eastern,
we propose updates and discussion on the following topics:

Simulations update (overview of shielding design projects
and update on other ongoing projects)

Report on MOLLER Spectrometer Downstream Coil Preliminary
Design Review

Report on MOLLER DAQ Preliminary Design Review

Update on MOLLER Beamline design status

Discussion of collaboration structure document (see below)

Collaboration structure document: As discussed at the December
collaboration meeting, we are following a plan to develop a
collaboration structure document that will guide us as we move
into the next phases of the experiment. The attached draft
started with the March 2015 version and went through
edits/updates from KK, Mark, and Jim Fast, followed by a comment
period and endorsement by the Executive Board. We are now
distributing it to the full collaboration with an invitation for
collaboration wide discussion at the April 21 forum.

Informal talks policy: As noted in the attached document, one
of the tasks of the Institutional Board is the establishment and
maintenance of a speakers board. In the interim, we wanted to
take this opportunity to state the policy we have been following
on this to date. We have not been actively soliciting talks for
MOLLER, since it is not scheduled to run until 2025. Speaker
invitations that do come to the MOLLER collaboration have been
handled by the Executive Board. Collaborators - especially
junior ones - who want to contribute abstracts to conferences
are strongly encouraged to do so, but requested to notify the
Executive Board.

Best regards,

Mark and KK
