but either my memory failed or they removed the big chillers from their
line. Largest now is 28 kW. We're using small ones for the MO system.
https://www.huber-online.com/us/cs-chiller.aspx has one that can cool 70

https://www.topchiller.com/recirculating-water-chiller/ goes to 240 kW

Linacs have water cooled version as that temperature is constant while
air at ends of linacs is warm due to magnets. The only turbo failure
I'm sure of was due to someone not opening the water valve after a down.
We now have a software alarm on turbo temp. There may have been a
second.
Buying TriScroll 300 for linacs now. TriScroll 600 also available.
Scroll tips are replaced annually due to radiation damage.

https://www.agilent.com/en/product/vacuum-technologies
top vacuum page. IDP scroll pumps are the ones that had cooling fans
fail due to radiation damage to fan microcontroller.

Rick Gonzales designed an instrumentation chassis connecting to
Instrutech TC gauge on foreline and a right angle valve to make sure the
turbo didn't turn into a helicopter. Software to interface to this and
the TwissTorr controller exists. Agilent software not purchased.
From JMenu:
Operations -> Vacuum -> Insulating Vacuum
There are 15 zones with TEMP and a small blue button next to TEMP.
These are the ones with Agilent systems. Hitting the button brings up
the turbo and instrumentation interface. Scroll pumps are plugged into
emergency power downstairs, no remote power control. Where possible,
turbo controllers are plugged into emergency power upstairs. Emergency
power is available only in selected racks and in some cases the distance
is over 100' to closest outlet, so house power for those.
