The Subatomic Physics group at the University of Manitoba is looking to hire a postdoctoral research associate to participate in ongoing research activities. The University of Manitoba has a strong research group in experimental subatomic
physics, with collaborations on the MOLLER Experiment at Jefferson Lab, the future Electron Ion Collider at Brookhaven National Lab both in the US, the TUCAN Experiment at TRIUMF in British Columbia, Canada, the P2 Experiment at Mainz, Germany and the Belle
II experiment at the KEK in Japan. The position will include participation in data analysis for the PREX/CREX Compton electron detector, preparations for the future MOLLER experiment, and graduate and undergraduate supervision.

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in subatomic, nuclear or particle physics by the start date of the position. They will have experience with simulation and design of nuclear experiments, hardware (detector) development experience
and ideally experience with parity-violating electron scattering experiments. The candidates will be evaluated based on their cover letter, CV and unofficial or official transcripts. In addition, they are asked to provide the names of three letter writers
who may be contacted for recommendations.
