<p class="MsoNormal">My take is that if there is not an agreement reached by the end of today there is a much higher probability we could hit the debt ceiling, which will result in closure of JLab, including building access being disabled, computer systems
being offline etc. The math is always difficult so it is not clear the clock really runs out June 1, but Treasury is pretty good at tracking the balance sheet.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">One issue I have identified from a project perspective is whether we would need to issue stop work to universities or other sub-contractors who have cost reimbursement or services type contracts – I am awaiting guidance about this. Typical
fixed-price contracts should not be impacted from what I understand.</p>
