The Slack workspace is useful for things like meeting announcements, asking questions, or having quick conversations.

Remember that we are using the free version of Slack on which messages and files are hidden after 90 days, so this is not an archive reference.  If a discussion on Slack is "important", we should be sure that the conclusions or discussion are saved such as through a DocDB or wiki entry.
