Hi Michael,
I can't attend the meeting today. We have a big winter storm rolling in
over Idaho and Wyoming today and tonight and I had to leave for
Christmas in Wisconsin with family a day earlier than originally
planned. I'm driving across Wyoming at the moment and don't think I can
really effectively participate. I may try to join (to mainly listen in)
but internet connection will be slow and spotty.
The main update I have to give concerns the showermax prototyping progress:
We have new machine-shop drawings for the full-scale prototypes -- the
original drawings were modified to accommodate the slightly different
quartz and tungsten tile thicknesses we purchased. These will be ready
to go to the shop after the new year.
We have manufactured a preliminary benchmarking prototype that is nearly
complete. It's made of 3D printed Nylon and ABS plastic parts. I'm
planning to bring it to our MOLLER meeting next month for some
show-and-tell and to get some design feedback. I could also give KK one
of them to take back to SBU.
Best,
Dustin
