Hi everyone,

This is a reminder, that we will be having the integrating detector
working group meeting tomorrow,
at 3:00 pm eastern.

Tomorrow's agenda includes:

  - Discussion of integrating detector relevant items from KK's original
list of action items that came
out of the Director's review report, including (no priority listing
here - discuss during meeting):

         - QWeak type double-difference systematic effect estimate for
MOLLER (geometry and material budget)
         - Excess noise in detectors from background due to shielding
and beam dump (briefly discussed in simulation meeting
and hard to do ... Basically try to minimize by keeping
background down. This is primarily a simulation issue for the
             detector group)
         - Splash back from showermax detectors on main detectors
(simulation / design)
         - Cross-talk due to showering in detector support structures
(CAD and simulation progress required)
         - Optimize quartz detector segmentation to minimize systematic
error due to background subtraction
The result of this optimization obviously has an effect on
detector design and will subsequently determine everything
else, including CAD design of mounting structure,
cross-talk, light yield, detector channel number and, to some degree
             the front-end electronics.

This should only be a brief discussion, during which we try to
identify high priorities.

  - Update from SBU regarding light production in the light guides
(scintillation/Cherenkov)

This should take up the bulk of the hour long meeting.

Let me know if I am missing anything.

The meeting connection info is listed below.

Cheers,

Michael
