[Moller_intdet] [EXTERNAL] Integrating Detector meeting

HI, Michael. What you are describing is the next step. At the moment, we have tiles in the G4 geometry with no “tile holding structures”. So, the low energy electron background we are currently looking at is unrelated to the main detector mechanical structures; it is coming from other subsystems (including the shower-max). Once we are done understanding that, we will be adding thin detector mechanical structures. At that point, if we see new background, of course that should be discussed at the detector meeting.

My main point was that we are at the first step i.e. to sign off on the 3-D sizes and locations of the main thin detector tiles in the simulation. For this, only the primaries are relevant. We will confuse ourselves by looking at low energy electrons that presumably come from wide angles.
