[Moller_intdet] Main detector light sealing design

Hello again,
Sorry, apparently the ppt file was too large ...
As I mentioned in the detector meeting on Tuesday, pretty much the last
topic that needs to be finalized for the main detector modules before we
can start production is the light sealing.
We are extremely constrained in what we can do, because of tight
clearances between detector modules during the segment insertion
process. So the light sealing design cannot introduce
significant additional structure around the existing modules design.
I also mentioned that I would prefer to nail the light sealing design
down as fast as possible. Since there wasn't any time to discuss this
in detail on Tuesday, I am attaching a short presentation
illustrating the current concept.
To make it easier to understand what I am proposing, I also made a story
board video of the assembly, using the ring 4 module as an example.
The second link below can be used by UofM people
who do not currently have access to the JLab sharepoint site.
I will present this today, in the detector mechanics meeting, but I know
that several people cannot make it. So I am sending the presentation to
the detector group.
Let me know if you have any comments or suggestions.
Thanks,
Michael
