We will have the integrating detector phone meeting today. I have not yet gotten
around to setting up bluejeans for this (maybe it's quick and Juliette can set it up now).
If not, please use the information provided below to call in for today and I will do my
best to set bluejeans up for next time.

Agenda (so far):

Rakitha: Update on background simulations
Discussions: Prototype development and beam tests for May (we have specific dates now)
Other: If you have something you want to talk about, please forward the information

Talk to you soon.
Hello,

It looks as though Tuesdays at 12:00 (noon) EST is the only time all those who have filled out the poll
could make it (some if need be). If you agree that this would work, let's have out first meeting of the year
this coming Tuesday, with the aim to organize for upcoming work connected to the two items below:

1) Prototype development for the next beam tests.
2) Integrating electronics decisions / design (I will elaborate on what has been happening at TRIUMF)

I will setup the conference call and send the information for it on Monday.

Thanks,
Hello,

It's time to restart the detector development meetings, especially given that we may have the opportunity
to test more prototypes in Mainz and other places this year. I apologize, that my effort to start regular meetings
last fall petered out. I got wrapped up in committee work, writing of grant proposals, pushing MOLLER
into the Canadian LRP and at TRIUMF, and work on other experiments (including - still - Qweak ).

Anyway, let's try and push ahead. I am sure people have made a lot of progress in the mean time ...

Here is a doodle poll to decide on a meeting date and time:

http://doodle.com/poll/sdgwbdhbkaeiq9wu

We can then decide during that meeting what the meeting frequency should be.
The list of discussion points below is still relevant. However, now the following items move to the top of
the priorities:

1) Prototype development for the next beam tests.
2) Integrating electronics decisions / design (I will elaborate on what has been happening at TRIUMF)

Cheers,
Hello everyone,

Much progress has been made over the summer, in the development of the integrating detector package,
both on the hardware and software (simulation) side. However many potential problems still need to be
investigated and resolved. All of the items listed in one of my messages earlier this year are still in need
of further work. For reference, here is my initial list:

- simulations of background in the detector region (there has been significant progress that needs to the discussed)
- realistic detector design (geometries, etc.), mounting design, and shielding, based on simulations with background
- determination of actual detector rates (with the above accounted for)
- efficiency expectations for the "other" rings (e-p, inelastic, super elastic, etc.)
- prototype design and testing of the shower max detectors
- prototype design and testing of the pion detectors (moved to tracking package)
- electronics needs for every detector (PMTs, ADCs, etc.)
- other stuff that I am forgetting ...

With this in mind, I would like to resume our phone conferences.

Considering that people's schedules will probably have changed, I have created a new doodle poll to select a new meeting
time. I envision continuing to have meetings every two weeks, rather than every week. If people prefer, we can also go to
once a month instead.

http://doodle.com/poll/gr44dkeeeaibh3we

Please fill the poll by this weekend.

Thanks,
