All,
I wanted to let all the speakers know that the review has gone very well.
Thank you for all the hard work to get ready for this and professional presentations. I expect a very favorable report from the committee tomorrow.
There is some possibility that we get additional homework tonight, but my bet is that we do not. If we do, I expect I will have that by 6 pm.
FYI – they are going to move the closeout earlier (1:00 pm or so) – which speaks to them not having a great deal to discuss and debate.
Again, great job and thank you all – and the many others who supported your work. Please pass my thanks along to your team members.
I will send a note to the full collaboration tomorrow with a summary of the closeout.
For the January review I do not anticipate significant changes to technical talks other than elective updates of new beam test results etc. Unfortunately it has become clear that we really must update all of the budgetary data to September or October month end given the state August closed in with PB-018. That means new data in all the CAM presentations and my presentations. At this point I do not expect us to update cost books with the exception of adding new vendor estimates we have for the CD-3a scope items.
Again – thank you all and hopefully most of you will be able to attend the close out.
Jim
