Dear Team,



Yesterday was a good result for the project and is a culmination of the hard work that all of you have put in over the years under Jim’s leadership.

I have been very impressed with the quality of the technical work and the dedication and commitment to achieving success for this ground-breaking experiment.



As was pointed out to us yesterday, we still have some work to do and, as always, in a very short period of time. However, I have every confidence that we can do this.



I know that the last few months have been stressful for everyone, preparing for two major reviews while still executing project work and keeping experiments going here at the lab and doing your other day jobs at your universities.



I hope that everyone will be able to get some well-earned rest this weekend and we shall regroup next week.
