[Mott] thickness slides

Hi -

I have been compiling the FE-SEM thickness measurements that have been measured so far, and comparing those to the "elastic" rates that I am getting (TDC cut only, no cut on energy, so we are getting some non-elastic events from the vicinity of the foil included in this iteration of the "elastics").

I have updated the wiki page with lots of raw data and three summaries that attempt to make sense of it:

https://wiki.jlab.org/ciswiki/index.php/Mott_Run1_Target_Thickness_Study

The power point with today's date has lots of screenshots from the FE-SEM studies on it and some summarizing of the results at the end, comparing measured thicknesses to elastic rates, and trying to predict the foil thicknesses for other foils. The .xlsx files with today's date are where the data is being gathered up and graphed.

One of the errors apparent in the data is that some of the FE-SEM images appear to have a bit of a tilt in them. I will work on trying to figure this out and correct for it without regard to the fits of thickness vs. rate or thickness vs. asymmetry.

The final three foils should be measured next week and will be extremely helpful in pinning down the fit lines to predict the foils that we can't measure a sibling.

Feel free to comment or suggest corrections to any of this - I think that we are meeting next week to discuss this data and will hopefully have much of the new thickness measurements as well.

Marcy
