Dear Joe,
We will be out of town for the next couple weeks. We may be where I can
get access to a phone, but I'm not certain at this point. If I can make
it, I will. As you understand, I am more-or-less at a stall in writing
for lack of key input. Items promised for the beginning of July are
still not available. We get back on August 19th, and between then and
the end of September, I will be able to put in a lot of writing time, if
I have what I need, so here's hoping. If, as you indicate, everyone
provides three slides, I'd appreciate having them posted - they would be
useful to me. Given where we will be next week, I guess you will know
that I can participate when I sign in - I do hope it works out that I
can. While I agree that Dan's priority should be to assure that we don't
lose all of Marty's work with GEANT, I do hope he can get to finishing
some of the fits we've talked about, as well as the final fits of the
run 1 and 2 data. As you know, I have serious reservations regarding
not using fits with the thicker foils included, and I would prefer that
any discussion of this wait until I am able to participate.
Best,
Charlie
