Thank you for the reference papers Kondo, I was able to recreate the
average SM vs HV plots you present with 3 sig ped cut excluding 1 strip
hits, 5 sig ped cut excluding 1 strip hits, and then 5 sig ped cut
including 1 strip hits. I do get a very similar relationship that is shown
in your plots. In the low voltage regime, the 3 and 5 sigma pedestal
cuts were very similar with 1 strip hits excluded. Then, in the high
voltage regime, the 5 sigma ped cuts with and without 1 strip hits start to
converge towards the same value. I will now try to recalculate the
efficiency plots using the notes mentioned from the meeting.
