[Mpgd-eicgen-rd] First CapaSh with Pad readout

Below is a link to a presentation at the2021  RD51 coll. mini week on the proof of concept and performance of the first capacitive-sharing detector concept. And this had a pad readout with a 1 cm pitch and 5 capaSh layers.

The slides also described the clusterisation approach to achieve a position resolution ~250 um for 1 cm pad and how to improve even better the performance with a higher gain detector.

Once it was demonstrated that capaSh could be also be used for strip readout (1D or 2D) to reduce channel counts, the pad readout version became less appealing. But there might be niche application where pad readout are more suitable and you ill still need to reduce count by implementing CapaSh structures
