Hello
I have a conflict this afternoon, so I cannot lead today's analysis meeting.
Feel free to meet, discuss your progress, and make/post a summary.
I can lead the meetings next Monday and Wednesday.
Sincerely

Notes from June 14 analysis meeting
Present: C. Hyde, W. Henry, Z. Huang, E. Wrightson, J. Roche

-Zheng Huang presented the histograms he proposes for online monitoring.
The histograms are filled by a script running on the Tree produced by
hcana. Zheng will work next on displaying waveforms. The histograms he
has prepared so far are shown in the attached file. Note: Julie is
working on getting hits filled by hcana directly.

-Bill Henry discussed his work for decoding helicity. Bill went through
his hclog entry (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4160555) . The helicity
signals are present in the input to the scalers. Nevertheless, the scalers
are unable to reconstruct the helicity (we are working with delayed
helicity). Bill is now focusing on the program that reconstructs the
helicity.

-Erick Wrightson showed his most recent results for predicting rates for
possible HMS sieve slit optics runs. Erick is not able to predict rates
for the central foil (see table below) and working on implementing the
extended foils. His next objectives are multi-foil, predicting the time
needed to get at least N (200- 1000?) events in the least populated hole,
and checking dp acceptance.

- A. Camsonne (and J. Roche) will be off for at least a week. Who wants to
lead then next few analysis meetings? We try to meet M,W,F 4pm in the
conference room of the CH or on zoom.
