[Nps] [New Logentry] RC Update

Here are some notable things that have happened since yesterday, and the short-term run plan:

</br>

<ul>
<li> Yesterday, MCC stopped the beam around 9 am for a pass change. We requested controlled access to fix the chiller water leak. They fix the leak. The NPS temperature was stable overnight and didn’t give any alarm. Thanks, RadCon for their support. <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4287275"> Fixed Chiller </a> </li>
<li> Started receiving beam at the beginning of the Owl. MCC performed harp scans. They looked acceptable. <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/4287624"> Harp scan </a>. </li>
<li> Hall requested for 40 uA. Since BLA calibration was not performed, we could only get 20 uA overnight. We started elastic calibration around 5 am. The first cycle is completed at the beginning of the day shift. Now we are performing shorter (30 min at each angle) scans with the current HV settings while waiting for the new HV settings. </li>
<li> We are planning to take one cycle of elastic calibration data with the new HV setting before we go for spectrometer rotation and calorimeter movement. This needs Tech support, hence we may take a shorter cycle so that we will be done by 3 pm or so. </li>

Updates from 8 am MCC meeting:

<ul>
<li> Will perform BLA calibration and some quick injector diagnostics.</li>
<li> Beam studies are scheduled for Thursday. Hall C is not required for this, but they will change the helicity pattern. </li>
</ul>

We will have a regular RC meeting at 11:00 am today in the CH conference room.
