Subject: Corrections: NPS-RG1a analysis meeting: Thursday June 27
Hello,
Carlos pointed out two issues with the message I sent yesterday:
* Alternating Mondays and Thursdays makes for uneven time between meetings. Revisiting when2meet: I found that we could do Wednesdays and Thursdays instead. So we will do that.
* Somehow, my mailer autocorrected ELOG to blog. I meant to write that multiple people have expressed their preference for using a combination of ELOG and Wiki.
Find below the updated/edited version of the email I sent yesterday.
Take care,
Julie

Good afternoon,
Based on your input using when2meet, I propose we meet weekly, alternating between
- Wednesdays at 8 a.m. (EDT), 2 p.m. (Paris), 1 pm (Tunis), 4 p.m. (Yerevan), 8 p.m. (Beijing), 2 a.m. (Hawaii) and 6 a.m. (Boulder) and
-Thursdays at 4 p.m. (EDT), 10 p.m. (Paris), 9 p.m. (Tunis), midnight (Yerevan), 4 a.m. (Beijing), 10 a.m. (Hawaii) and 2 p.m. (Boulder).
Hopefully, I did not forget anyone … This schedule attempts to get all of us to contribute during office hours at least half of the time. I’m open to any clever/more convenient solutions. We will need to reevaluate at the beginning of the Fall semester. Peter noted that the inclusive pion group will continue to meet on Fridays at noon. I assume the optic group will also continue to meet separately (ask Christine, Josh, and/or Charles for information on this).
Multiple collaborators told me they are keen on using a combination of the ELOG and the wiki to document our analysis progress. I also favor this solution. If you want to argue for something else, we can talk about this again at our next meeting. Please give me an early warning.
Our next meeting will be held on
Thursday, June 27 at 4 p.m. (EDT), 10 p.m. (Paris), 9 p.m. (Tunis), midnight (Yerevan), 4 a.m. (Beijing), 10 a.m. (Hawaii) and 2 p.m. (Boulder).

The following meeting will be on Wednesday, July 3.
Please let me know before the meeting if you intend to present something specific on June 27. If not, we will go around the table for a status update of ongoing analysis.
Take care,

Subject: Analysis plans post NPS-RG1a data taking
Good morning,
During the NPS-RG1a data collection, we held three weekly analysis meetings to discuss online results. Monday morning, after the data collection stopped, we started making plans for the data analysis. We will take a month's break from the analysis meetings and agreed to start a weekly meeting after June 24, 2024.
Please read below and contribute to the analysis's organization.
* When to meet: Please use this whentomeet poll <https://www.when2meet.com/?25101079-nm2RW> to indicate ALL times you are willing meet between June 24 and August 15, 2024. The poll lists a 24-hour meeting window in purpose. As we are spread out worldwide, we will probably alternate meeting times to accommodate everyone, so please indicate after-hours availability. I’ll review the results of that poll on June 1.
* How to document analysis meeting: Up to now, we have used Redmine and hclog to post our online analysis results. Monday, we discussed using the following softwares and pushed the decision time to our next meeting at the end of June 2024.
* DocDB (for example, Hall C docdb public page<https://hallcweb.jlab.org/doc-public/DocumentDatabase>
* The NPS wiki<https://wiki.jlab.org/cuawiki/index.php/Main_Page>
* Redmine (Pion-Kaon LT<https://redmine.jlab.org/projects/kltexp/wiki/Kaon_LT_Meetings> , NPS<https://redmine.jlab.org/projects/nps/activity>)
* Elog (DVCS at hallA<https://hallaweb.jlab.org/dvcslog/12+GeV/>, NPS<https://hallcweb.jlab.org/elogs/nps/>. Mark Jones confirmed that Hall C will provide support to the ELOG for the foreseeable future).
* Preliminary list of analysis tasks: I started a google doc<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bFAArkcxNbcWXG6oRhfj4f_97Z1ctpJWfagbPl-jjFk/edit> with some preliminary items. To this list, feel free to add :
* links to existing results,
* additional steps (no need to be too detailed here), and
* your name if you plan to work on a specific task. It is ok to have multiple people working on a specific task.
We started setting objectives for the Pass 1 replay, which could happen in October. At our next meeting, Carlos will summarize the steps we took for the previous analysis of DVCS at HallA.
* People power roundup: Please let me know your commitment to our NPS-RG1a analysis, how much you plan to work on it, for how long, and when you plan to graduate, as well as any other relevant information.
Take care,
=====
