Dear NPWG members,
Given I didn't get any contributions for our May monthly meeting, I am
going to cancel it. However, in case you missed it, I am putting below the
message sent by the Collaboration Chair about the June CLAS collaboration
meeting that is planned for June 21th - 24th.
Please register for the event if you haven't done yet, and most
importantly, send me your contributions for our NPWG session scheduled
for *Wednesday,
June 22nd, at 11 AM EDT*, see the meeting agenda.
<https://indico.jlab.org/event/536/> Please send me that no later than *COB
of Wednesday, June 15th*. So far, I was notified about one contribution.
Looking forward to hearing from as many of you as possible as well as
seeing you in person in June,
Best,
Lamiaa

Subject: CLAS Collaboration Meeting, June 21-24 in JLab: preliminary
schedule and registration
To: <clasmbr at jlab.org>
Dear Collaborators,
the preliminary schedule of the upcoming CLAS Collaboration Meeting (June
21-24) is online. For now, only the plenary sessions are complete. As you
can see, the CCC decided to keep the same "structure" of the latest
meetings, without parallel sessions, to allow for full participation in all
the Working Groups presentations and thus make us all more aware of the
ongoing work on the whole Collaboration. The meeting will take place mostly
in the mornings, aside from Tuesday, when there will also be a short
afternoon plenary session.
Please note the seminar presentation by Adi Ashkenazi on Friday morning, in
which she'll present us an overview of the ongoing "Electrons for
neutrinos" efforts.
We'll also have a special session (Tuesday) devoted to the possible
CEBAF/CLAS12 upgrades: this time it will be mainly focused on the physics
perspectives in the major fields of interest in our Collaboration.
Besides, we'll have physics updates on the most advanced ongoing analyses
on CLAS and CLAS12, on recently-submitted PAC proposals, updates on ongoing
experiments, reports, and discussions on Software & CalCom (with a special
emphasis on the imminent pass-2 processing of CLAS12 data), and the joint
sessions devoted to the three physics Working Groups. Please don't forget
to contact your WG Chair if you want to give a presentation! The slots are
filling quickly.
The meeting will take place, ***in person at Jefferson Lab*** (at last!),
but a remote Zoom connection will be ensured for all those who will not be
able to attend (the link will be sent out at a later stage).
The registration is open, at the following link:
https://misportal.jlab.org/Ul/conferences/generic_conference/registration.cfm?conference_id=COLLAB-CLAS-JUNE22
Please register, even if you plan to attend only remotely.
You'll notice that there is a $76 registration fee for in-person
participants (students and remote participants are exempt): it will be used
to cover the costs of the coffee breaks and of the reception, that we'll
have on Thursday evening.
You'll also find these links on the CLAS Collaboration wiki page:
https://wiki.jlab.org/clas_chair/index.php/CLAS_Collaboration_Information#Meetings
Looking forward to seeing you all again in JLab, after all this time!
Best regards,
Silvia
