Dear NPWG Members,

I hope you are doing well.

As mentioned in the November message below, in case there are some urgent matters that require immediate working group attention and discussion, I can hold the monthly meeting instead on the third Wednesday, Dec. 18th, prior to the holiday season. If this is the case, please let me know no later than 5 PM CST on Monday, Dec. 16th, to inform the working group members on Tuesday about the status of this monthly meeting.

P.S.: If you plan to attend any workshop or conference this winter 2024 or spring 2025, please circulate your abstract to the NPWG mailing list, nulcear at jlab.org<mailto:nulcear at jlab.org>, for review and endorsement. As previously discussed, any preliminary results should be presented first to the working group before dissemination, and once the release is approved, a CSC request should be submitted. An example of such scientific events related to approaching deadlines are

  1.
The XXXII International Workshop on Deep Inelastic Scattering and Related Subjects (DIS2025)<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__indico.cern.ch_event_1436959_overview&d=DwIGaQ&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=VNSjjDr6P0dp77ivVJxEDVrtpOCMgko7QZzZOXeF2kk&m=v6P4-RgMFfrIGgKJv9QobBvV_PFXnMz2RfynRjb6dP0H7jtugI414xyW0NCAXmMH&s=dSzB07X8wCHkZOgXnYwziOIY8h3_1mWACVWaeOakYUo&e= > will be held in Cape Town, South Africa, from March 24 to March 28, 2025. Its abstract submission is due by January 15th, 2025.
  2.
The ongoing election for the CSC NPWG Alternate Member will close this Friday, Dec. 13th.

Best,

Lamiaa

Subject: Skipping NPWG Monthly Meeting on Nov. 27th & Approaching Deadlines

Dear NPWG Members,

I hope this message finds you well.

We are due for our November monthly meeting next Wednesday, Nov. 27th, at 11 a.m. CDT, 12 p.m. EDT, 2 p.m. CLST, 9 a.m. PDT, and 18:00 CET. However, since we just had the collaboration meeting last week with several reports from our working group members in Wednesday's morning mini-sessions; see the Indico agenda<https://indico.jlab.org/event/910/>, I suggest skipping the meeting, given it also coincides with the Thanksgiving break, to whom it concerns in the U.S. Since the December monthly meeting will also coincide with the holidays season, I can hold the meeting instead in the third week of December, i.e., Dec. 18th, if needed. Please let me know your preferences so that I can plan accordingly. Otherwise, I wish you and yours happy, safe, and joyful Holidays seasons, and my best wishes for the new year 2025 🙂 🎊🎆💐!

P.S.: If you plan to attend any workshop or conference this fall/winter 2024 or spring 2025, please circulate your abstract to the NPWG mailing list, nulcear at jlab.org<mailto:nulcear at jlab.org>, for review and endorsement. As previously discussed, any preliminary results should be presented first to the working group before dissemination, and once the release is approved, a CSC request should be submitted. An example of such scientific events related to approaching deadlines are

  1.
