[NPWG-CP] [EXTERNAL] Call for NPWG April Meeting & Nominating Committee

Dear NPWG Members,

I hope this message finds you well.

We are due for our April monthly meeting next Wednesday, Apr. 30th, at 11 a.m. CDT,  9 a.m. PDT, 12 p.m. EDT/CLT, and 18:00 CEST. If you wish to give an update about your ongoing analysis/project, please drop me a line no later than 5 PM CDT on Monday, Apr. 28th, to confirm the meeting and its agenda to our working group members next Tuesday morning.

On a different note, to avoid spamming you with a separate message 🙂, I am soliciting volunteers for the nominating committee (NC) for the upcoming NPWG Chair election. Given my 2nd term will last by the end of August 2025, and the fact that I am not willing to run once more, I volunteer to chair this committee, but I need at least another member or two to serve on it. Please send me your nominations, including yourself, for the NC by Friday, May 23rd. Once formed, I hope we can send the call for the new chair nomination by the end of May or early June, then run the election in July. It was my great pleasure to serve you for almost six years in a row, and I will do my best to support my successor 🙂!

Looking forward to hearing back from you concerning both calls.

P.S.: If you plan to attend any workshop or conference in 2025, please circulate your abstract to the NPWG mailing list, nulcear at jlab.org<mailto:nulcear at jlab.org>, for review and endorsement. As previously discussed, any preliminary results should be presented first to the working group before dissemination, and once the release is approved, a CSC request should be submitted.
