Dear mine workers,

let me remind you that by the end of this week (tomorrow evening), you must send the following information to Larry (and /or me):

IF you want to be listed as "major participant" (regardless of whether you want to ask for DOE funds for yourself or not):
- A list of all members of your institution that will take part in this effort, highlighting the senior members that will be listed as major participant in the grant
- a paragraph or so on what YOU plan to contribute (existing and future manpower, resources), and what aspects of this initiative you want to work on
- A CV for every "major participant". These CVs need to follow NSF guidelines (which now have become also DOE guidelines and have been attached). They must be 2 pages long and list collaborators etc.
- a list of all resources, infrastructure and equipment provided by your institution that you are willing and able to use in the pursuit of our objective (computers etc.)

IF you ALSO want to ask for any funds to your own institution within this proposal (and are DOE-funded):
- Express your interest to be listed as co-PI
- Results from Previous Support: For all co-PIs, we should at least state how they are being funded by DOE, maybe a short summary of major results, and a reference to their most recent progress reports.
- Budget: If you want any of the expected DOE funds to go to YOUR institution, you will have to specify what exactly you are asking for, and for how much $$$, plus justification
- Current and Pending Support

So far, I have received (at least partial) responses from Eli, Mark, Sabine and Misak. I have not gotten any response from Glasgow, MIT, UNH or W&M. Don't wait any longer!

- Sebastian (also for Larry)
