[Nuclear] NUINT 2012 poster abstract draft for submission

Dear Colleagues,

Hyupwoo Lee and I plan to present a poster at the  Eighth International
Workshop on Neutrino-Nucleus Interactions in the Few-Gev Region. Rio de
Janeiro, Brazil. October 22nd to October 27th 2012.

This poster will describe preliminary results from measurements of
differential pion production cross sections on different nuclei (in eg2)
which are of great interest to the neutrino community.

Unfortunately the poster abstract submission deadline snuck up on me.  So,
objections/suggestions are requested ASAP.

Proposed abstract:

Preliminary results on semi-inclusive charged pion production in eA
collisions at Ebeam=5 GeV/c2 are presented. The data were collected using
the CLAS detector, which is a multipurpose,
large acceptance, magnetic spectrometer located in Hall B at the Thomas
Jefferson National
Accelerator Facility. Distributions (integrated and differential) in W,
Q2, pp , and qp are shown for data produced using
deuteriumand carbon targets, including radiative corrections. Preliminary
comparisons with data simulated using the GENIE generator
are made. The motivation for this work is to provide distributions useful
for tuning the hadronic production models used in extracting results from
current and next-generation neutrino oscillation experiments.
