[Nuclear] March NPWG meeting

Dear Mike,

I cannot attend the CLAS meeting because I will be at a workshop in
Israel. However, I think it is extremely important to make clear to
Volker that the schedule presented at the last collaboration meeting is
unacceptable since
(a) no real nuclear targets are scheduled til 2022 (after the *second*
set of proton runs) and
(b) the schedule was made with little or no collaboration input and
without any formal process.

I understand that we should run the proton first, then the deuteron and
Bonus (in some order), then polarized H and D. However, it is extremely
important to run the nuclear targets immediately after that. We are one
of the three CLAS physics working groups and we need to get some data to
keep our research programs, grants and students.

Sincerely,
Larry

When I looked over Volker's slides from the last Collaboration Meeting, it looks like nuclear related runs (B, D, F, and G) are not scheduled until 2019 (B, F) and 2022 (D, G). However, I would like a status of how things are going, so I am asking spokespersons to give an update and a review. In addition, we could have talks about ideas for future experiments. We could invite our theorists friends or mild acquaintances to pitch ideas.
