Dear NPWG members,

I would like to bring to your attention the approaching abstract submission
deadline of the in-person 2022 Fall Meeting of the APS Division of Nuclear
Physics (DNP2022), see below.
As usual, abstracts need to be endorsed by the working group and any new
preliminary results should be approved before their dissemination at any
events.
I have created the DNP2022 entry on our NPWG wiki page
<https://clasweb.jlab.org/Hall-B/npwg/index.php/Main_Page#Abstracts.2FTalks>
(accessed
with JLab credentials), so either upload your abstract therein and send a
note to the group to review it or forward it and will do it for you.
So far, there is just one abstract by me about the RG-D CT study, so please
review it and send me your comments by COB on June 24th.
Additionally, all talks should be submitted to the CSC
<https://clasweb.jlab.org/csc/wiki/index.php/Main_Page#tab=Procedures_2FForms>
for an acknowledgment (contributed) or approval (invited) once the abstract
is reviewed by the NPWG.

Similarly, in case you are planning to attend any conference/meeting,
please drop me a line to add its entry to our wiki page and follow the same
approval procedure for its abstract submission, etc.

Best,

Lamiaa

The meeting will be in person in New Orleans, October 27-30, with virtual
components. The Local Organizers have planned several exciting events
showcasing New Orleans. See the website for details.

The plenary session will be on Nuclear Threat and Mitigation. The invited
sessions are:

   and the Next Decade
   - University Based Accelerator Programs
   - Symmetries In Nuclei: In Honor of Rowe and Rosenteel

In addition to the usual sorting categories, there are 9 minisymposia
available for abstract submission, listed with the category that should be
used for submission to these sessions:

   - (19a) Don't Look Up: Nuclear Data for Planetary Defense and Space
   Exploration
   - (19b) Inspiring the Next Generation Through Nuclear Research
   - (19c) Mass Measurements for Extreme Astrophysical Environments
