*Accelerator Parking, Access to Trailer 53C to be Impacted on Friday,
April 23*

Impact: Parking spaces on the Accelerator Site, mostly adjacent to
Trailer 53C, will be coned off; and no one will be permitted use of
Trailer 53C on Friday April 23. This is to accommodate work previously
scheduled for April 21/22 but has been delayed due to the weather.

*Section of CEBAF Center Parking Lot Lights Out Tonight, Tomorrow Morning*

Impact: Tonight, Thursday, April 22 through tomorrow morning: The
parking lot lights on the north end of the main CEBAF Center parking lot
won't be working, due to construction -- new lights being wired in.

*Major Campus Power Outage Begins Friday at 6 p.m.*

A power outage impacting the Test Lab, EEL, CEBAF Center and associated
buildings is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Friday, April 23 and last
until 5 p.m. Sunday, April 25.

The following facilities will not have power during this period and
therefore will NOT be accessible.

-- CEBAF Center, Bldg 12

-- EEL, Bldg 90

-- Test Lab, Bldg 58

-- Acid Neutralization Building (Bldg 31)

-- RADCON (Bldgs 52, 54, and 52 series trailers)

-- Building 59

_Janitorial Services for Areas Being Impacted by the Power Outage:_ In
preparation for this power outage, janitorial services will empty ALL
trash in impacted facilities on Thursday evening (tonight) instead of
Friday evening. Janitorial services will also completely empty ALL
impact-area refrigerators on Thursday evening.

At 4 p.m. on Friday, janitorial services will empty only restroom,
kitchenette and public area waste receptacles. Janitorial services
resume on Monday, April 26.

In order for the outage to run smoothly all staff, users, and
contractors with office/work areas in the impacted facilities shall make
sure the following are completed before the power outage:

o Empty, defrost and unplug all refrigerators/freezers in the
above list of affected buildings and trailers. Any items
left after 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 22 will be thrown away.
o Before leaving on Friday, log off and turn off all computing
equipment and any other office electronics.

The Library in the ARC Building will be available for use during this
period. Access will be via JLab ID Badge/access cards and will operate
in the same manner as during weekends.

Essential computing will remain online and accessible from outside the
JLab campus. The Computer Center will stay up with a feed from the
Accelerator Site.

Guard Post 2 (Accelerator entry point) will be on generator.

The outage is for connection of the new Test Lab Cooling Towers power
feed to the Campus Substation. See outage announcement.
