*Volunteers Still Needed for Sat. May 1, Open House.
All Open House Volunteers Must Attend One Session of the Mandatory 
Safety Briefing -- Set for Next Week*

Jefferson Lab's 2010 Open House will take place Saturday, May 1. Public 
Affairs is seeking lab staff, users and adult family members to help 
with about a dozen remaining general event taskings.

Volunteers are still needed as bus stop attendants, bus monitors, 
greeters and walking path monitors. Sign up online now at: 
http://www.jlab.org/openhouse/volunteer.html  for the full day, 8:30 
a.m. - 4 p.m., or half-day shifts. Hourly employees will be paid, with 
advance approval from their supervisors.

We need your help to carry out this event. Participation across the JLab 
community is what has made past open houses great successes. Sign up 
today and be part of the excitement. If we each do our small part, we 
can make this the best JLab open house ever. This will be the first 
opportunity in three years to tell the public, first hand, about 
Jefferson Lab, the research we carry out and the many upgrade and 
expansion projects that are underway.

All volunteers will receive a T-shirt to wear the day of the event.

All volunteers must attend an event safety and orientation briefing in 
the CEBAF Center Auditorium at one of the following times:

Monday, April 26, 9 a.m.

Tuesday, April 27, 1 p.m.

Thursday, April 29, 3 p.m.
