Dominion Generation is one of the largest energy-producing companies in 
the U.S. The speaker will present statistics on the company before 
explaining the challenges facing the industry and Dominion Generation's 
modernization plans to meet these challenges.These plans address power 
generation (nuclear, fossil and hydro) and transmission lines, while 
minimizing the environmental impacts.A total investment of $9.4 billion 
is projected for Virginia over the next five years, of which more than 
$2 billion is for environmental protection.
