[On_site_list] JLab Main Entrance: Beware of Congestion When Exiting via Onnes Dr.

*Please be aware of congestion when exiting JLab via Onnes Dr.; lane 
expansion work at the south end of Lawrence Drive us underway.*

This morning (Monday, March 7) work began at the intersection of 
Lawrence and Onnes Drives (JLab's main entrance) in order to add a 
right-hand turn lane to the south end of Lawrence. JLab's main entrance 
and the Lawrence/Onnes intersection will stay open during this project. 
However, at times traffic flow may be briefly stopped or reduced to one 
lane. Please watch for congestion and use caution when driving in this 
area and heed all signs and flag people. During this process, congestion 
could likely develop during high-volumn departure times -- like lunch 
and at the end of the day.

Facilities Management and Logistics asks for your patience during this 
project. Once it is completed, traffic flow departing the lab from the 
Onnes Drive/Jefferson Avenue intersection will flow more smoothly. 
Please view the attached diagram to see where the new turn lane is being 
constructed. This work should be completed around mid-March, but is 
weather dependent.
