[On_site_list] Join JAG Nov. 2 for Tailgate Picnic; Last Call for Volunteers

To celebrate the end of Jefferson Lab's Six-Month Shutdown and the work 
underway to bring beam back up in CEBAF, the Jefferson Activities Group 
is holding a Tailgate Picnic for lab staff, students and on-site users 
on Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 3 -- 5:30 p.m. on the SURA Residence Facility 
field.

The event will include tailgate-style food, beverages, music, a Craziest 
Fan contest and unsupervised sports (like Corn Hole).

We still need about a dozen volunteers to help with set up, food and 
drink service, drink bracelets and clean up. Volunteer positions, in 
one-hour shifts, are posted on the JAG webpage; please sign up before 10 
a.m. on Nov. 2. The more help, the merrier! We couldn't do these events 
without our volunteers!

Wear sturdy shoes and dress warmly for cool afternoon/evening temperatures.

Selecting a winner of the Craziest Fan contest will be conducted as 
follows: Volunteers in the ID Bracelet tent will also disburse one 
ticket to every JLab badge holder that requests a Craziest Fan ticket. 
Each ticket holder may then give their ticket to the person they feel is 
wearing the best Crazy Fan outfit. At an announcement from the MC, all 
Crazy Fans will come forward with the tickets they've been given over 
the course of the afternoon. The person with the most tickets will win.
