[On_site_list] Roof Work to Impact CEBAF Center Parking Lot, Loading Dock

A subcontractor will be conducting roof upgrade work over the CEBAF 
Center (Bldg. 12) A, B and C Wings and lobby between Nov. 30 (today) and 
Dec. 22. During this time, portions of the CEBAF Center parking lot and 
loading dock area will be temporarily closed -- as needed -- to prevent 
vehicles from getting overspray on them while the new roofing material 
and sealant is applied to the roof.

Work will start on the roof over the A Wing. Security will cone or rope 
off affected areas the night before.

These roof sections will be coated with polyurethane foam and silicon. 
Both the foam and silicon are sprayed and tend to drift in the air, and 
can leave deposits on vehicles, which aren't easily removed.

Parking areas around CEBAF Center will be blocked as needed, depending 
on the location of the work and the wind direction. Alternative parking 
will be in the lot east of the EEL (Bldg. 90); Rutherford Road (the lot 
extending between CEBAF Center and the VARC); and the ARC parking lots.

This work is weather dependent. On rainy days there will be no work and 
no parking will be blocked. On very cold days, there may not be any work.

Part of the paved area near the CEBAF Center loading dock will be used 
by the subcontractor to place spray equipment. Regular deliveries will 
be maintained. Golf carts may be able to use the golf cart parking area, 
except for the day spaying is directly over that area. All other traffic 
near the loading dock may have to be prohibited during this work.
