[On_site_list] JLab Road Closure - OVER THIS WEEKEND

*JLab's Rattley & South Connector roads to be CLOSED over the weekend*

Sections of Jefferson Lab's Rattley and South Connector roads will be 
closed for some time over the weekend so road striping can take place. 
These road closures will prevent access to the lab and to the SURA 
Residence Facility from Rattley Road (the back entrance to the lab).

The work is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, and to be 
completed by 5 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 29.  But, the work could extend into 
Sunday if weather conditions prevent work completion on Saturday.

Rattley Road will be closed adjacent to the intersection with Hogan 
Drive (the SCOT Newport News bus depot). Therefore all access to 
Jefferson Lab and the SURA Residence Facility must be via Onnes Drive 
(JLab's main entrance) and Lawrence Drive.  Once on Lawrence, take the 
North Connector Road (between CEBAF Center and the VARC) to access all 
areas of JLab and the Residence Facility.  All vehicles must use the 
North Connector Road because a section of the South Connector Road will 
also be closed for striping.

See the map below; the areas marked in blue will be closed for striping.


Paint striping is to be done:
-- On the South Connector Road from the CEBAF Center Circle to Rattley Road.
-- On Rattley Road at the corner north of the Residence Facility.
