[On_site_list] Red Cross Blood Drive Today; All Participation is Appreciated

A Red Cross Blood Drive is taking place at Jefferson Lab today (Tuesday, 
Jan. 27), from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in CEBAF Center, Room F113.

New and repeat donors are encouraged to attend. Walk-ins are welcome.

The American Red Cross is appealing for donations as donations often 
drop at this time of year. Many parts of the country are experiencing 
seasonal flu epidemics and inclement winter weather, which are impacting 
the ability of blood donors to give. Through the beginning of January, 
blood donations to the American Red Cross were down approximately 15 
percent overall from what is needed to maintain a sufficient blood supply.

All participation is appreciated; few appointments have been made in 
advance of this blood drive.
