[On_site_list] Tailgate Party Moved to Thursday: Lab Staff & Users Invited, Volunteers Still Needed

*The Jefferson Lab Activities Group Tailgate Party has been moved to 
Thursday, Oct. 29, due to inclement weather predicted for Tuesday and 
Wednesday. All volunteer registrations have been moved to Thursday. 
Volunteers who aren’t available on Thursday, are ask to un-register.*

Jefferson Lab employees and users are invited to the JAG Tailgate 
scheduled for Thursday, from 3-6 p.m. Due to wet weather in the 
forecast, a significant portion of the event will be held on the 
Residence Facility parking lot.

The Tailgate will feature Brunswick stew, chili, nachos, pulled pork 
BBQ, and beverages. Wear your favorite team's colors (whatever the 
sport) and sturdy shoes, and dress for potentially cool evening 
temperatures. There is still time to sign up your team for the cornhole 
tournament, or bring your shinguards for the pick-up soccer game.

In order to make this event a success, the JAG committee needs 
volunteers. More than a dozen one-hour volunteer shifts are open in the 
areas of food service, food runner, food clean up, nacho/popcorn server, 
trash maintenance and tear down.

Parking: Park your vehicle in the CEBAF Center parking lot and cross 
Hadron Drive at the crosswalk. Parking won’t be permitted in the 
Residence Facility lot nor along Rattley Road or Hadron Drive.

During the Tailgate, the winning tickets will be drawn for the lab's 
United Way fundraising campaign raffle. Tickets are $1 each and are 
available for purchase from noon-1 p.m. through Thursday in the CEBAF 
Center lobby. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the 
Tailgate. All raffle ticket proceeds go to the United Way to support 
community services like after school programs. Winning tickets will be 
drawn for an Apple Watch, Apple iPad Mini, and a Fitbit! You need not be 
present to win.
