Jefferson Lab Not Receiving Incoming Federal Phone Calls 

One of the incoming telephone lines for the Jefferson Lab site has been accidentally severed. Outgoing calls are not affected, and most incoming calls are being automatically rerouted to a different incoming line. 

However, calls from federal sites, including the Department of Energy and the other National Labs, are not being rerouted. Callers from these sites currently receive a busy signal. If you are expecting a call to your Jefferson Lab extension from a federal site today, be aware that you may not receive the call. However, you can place a call via your Jefferson Lab phone to a federal site. 

IT Division staff members are aware of the issue, and the telephone company is working to repair the severed line. The repair is expected to be complete later today.
