Activities Group is hosting a children's Winter Wonderland
Holiday Party on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the
CEBAF Center lobby. All children of JLab employees, contractors
and users are invited. Volunteers are needed to help with
refreshments, games and crafts, and as Santa's Helpers.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height:
normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Santa Claus plans to drop
in on the party, and will be available to talk with and be
photographed with the children. Youngsters may take part in
games and craft activities. Light snacks and drinks will be
provided. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Each
family is asked to bring a new, unopened toy donation for the
Toys For Tots toy drive.<br>

JLab is participating in the U.S. Marine Corps' annual Toys For
Tots toy drive. Bring in your donation of new, unopened toys for
children ages 1-12 and deposit them in the collection boxes.
Local Marines will pick up the toys and distribute them to
children in need. Marked drop boxes are located near the main
entrances of CEBAF Center, VARC, ARC, Test Lab and the MCC

a Holiday Office Door/Cubicle Decorating Contest. Prizes will be
awarded for the Best Decorated, Most Original Decoration, and
the Silliest. All employees, users and contractors with an
office or cubicle at JLab may enter the contest (individuals and
groups). To enter, you must e-mail JAG Chair Bridget Paul by 5
p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15. Include your name(s), building number
and office/cube location. Judging will take place Dec. 17.
Winning entries will be announced on Monday, Dec. 20.<span
style=""> </span>Decorations may go up as early as Dec. 1
and should be taken down by Jan. 5, 2011. Decorating materials
should be fire resistant and only UL-approved
lighting/electronics may be used. Don’t use opened food items in
your decorations. For instance, wrapped candy canes are ok;
unwrapped cookies are not.<br style="">

<b>Holiday Shopping: JAG Offers JLab-Logo Merchandise Through
On-Line Store</b>

normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Jefferson Lab
Activities Group provides the lab community with the opportunity
to purchase a variety of merchandise with the JLab logo on it –
directly from the JAG webpage.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height:
normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Items may be ordered
individually or in larger quantities, and include many different
products: short and long-sleeved shirts, cardigans, T-shirts,
sweatshirts, a variety of hats and a soft-sided bag. The JLab
logo can be printed in color on the items ordered.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height:
normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">There is a two-week turn
around on most orders. Orders shipped to addresses in Virginia
that require one-day shipping must be placed no later than Dec.
13 in order to have it ready to ship by Dec. 23. Orders being
shipped to more distant location, like California, need to allow
up to five working days for shipment, requiring orders to be
placed no later than Dec. 6.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height:
normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Routine orders are
delivered by UPS ground shipment. Credit cards may be used to
place orders on the webpage and over the phone. Checks may be
also used for payment, but must be mailed and received or
delivered to the vendor prior to shipping.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
