<b>JAG Reminds Lab Community of Children's Holiday Party, Toys for
Tots Drive, Decorating Contest</b><br>

"The holidays will be here in the blink of an eye. Plan on being
part of the fun and festivities planned for Jefferson Lab staff,
users, family members and subcontractors," urges Jefferson
Activities Group Chair Bridget Paul. "The JAG committee wishes
everyone at the lab a happy and safe holiday season."<br>

<b>Lab Youth Invited to Children’s Holiday Party Saturday, Dec. 10</b><br>
The Jefferson Activities Group is hosting a Children's Holiday Party
on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the CEBAF Center
lobby. All children of Jefferson Lab employees, contractors and
users are invited.<br>
Santa Claus plans to drop by, and will be available to talk with and
be photographed with the children. <br>
A visit is also planned by JAG Dog Training Club member, Dan Young,
Physics Division, and his two Samoyeds, Nikko and Tally (aka Santa's
snow dogs).<br>
Youngsters may take part in games and craft activities. Light snacks
and drinks will be provided. All children must be accompanied by an
adult. Each family is asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy donation
for Toys For Tots.<br>

<b>Volunteers Needed to Help With Children’s Party</b><br>
A number of volunteers are needed to help with the Children's
Holiday Party, mostly as crafts-table and game helpers to assist
younger children with basic cutting, gluing or tying. All crafts and
supplies will be provided. Volunteers are also needed for the snack
area and as Santa's Helpers. Sign up now online: <a

<b>Toys For Tots Toy Drive Ends Saturday at Noon</b><br>
As in years' past, JLab is participating in the U.S. Marine Corps'
annual Toys For Tots toy drive. Bring in your donation of new,
unwrapped toys for children ages 1-12 and deposit them in the
collection boxes. Local Marines will pick up the toys and distribute
them to children in need.<br>
The deadline for bringing in donations is noon Saturday, Dec. 10. A
Toys For Tots representative will pick up the donations Saturday
afternoon. Marked drop boxes are located near the main entrances of
CEBAF Center, VARC, ARC, Test Lab and the MCC. For information about

<b>Ready, Set, Hang Those Decorations!</b><br>
JAG is also sponsoring a Holiday Office Door/Cubicle Decorating
Contest. Prizes will be awarded for the Best Decorated, Most
Original, and the Silliest. All employees, users and contractors
with an office or cubicle at JLab may enter the contest (individuals
and groups). <br>
To enter, you must email JAG Chair Bridget Paul at <a
class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:bpaul@jlab.org">bpaul@jlab.org</a>
by 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12. Include your name(s), building number and
office/cube location. Judging will take place Dec. 15 and 16.
Winning entries will be announced Monday, Dec. 19.<br>
Decorations should be taken down by Jan. 3, 2012. Decorating
materials should be fire resistant and only UL-approved
lighting/electronics may be used. Don’t use opened food items in
your decorations. For instance, wrapped candy canes are ok;
unwrapped cookies are not.<br>
