Precipitation including rain, snow flurries and wintry mix is
forecast to continue into this evening and end in the early hours of
Thursday morning for much of Hampton Roads – the Peninsula and
Southside/Tidewater.

The National Weather Service has posted a wind advisory that remains
in effect until Thursday morning. Northwest winds of 30-35 mph are
expected, with gusts up to 50 mph. Strong winds can make driving
difficult and bring down trees and branches onto roadways, and cut
electrical power to street lights.

While snow accumulation isn't anticipated, roads will be wet and
possibly slippery on the way home from work today, and visibility
could be poor at times.

Overpasses and bridges could be slippery when coming to work on
Thursday morning.

Please use extra caution when driving this evening and tomorrow.
