Hi Pansophy Team

Please see below - Kurt Macha will be calling a meeting in the new year to restart this project for Grigory

In the meantime- could you please put on your "to do list" to transfer the traveler from C75 Project areas to the NB3SN Project area for the cavities - serial number are in the title line - this is not urgent - can wait until the new year

Thanks Everyone - have a great holiday !

Anne

Hi Kurt and All,

The funding and AWPs are all set to go.  The cryomodule group is continuing with the disassembly.  There's no longer any  reason to hold off on Nb3SN project.  The codes are;

NB3SND - Disassembly
NB3SNP - Cavity pair
NB3SNA - Cryomodule assembly
NB3SNT - Acceptance test
NB3SNC - Commissioning
NB3SNQ - QA

Thanks,
Tony

Anne,

Work on Nb3Sn is on hold until Tony gives an official go ahead. We hope to start after the first of the year. We will setup some project travelers and have project meetings when we are approved to move forward. I had one project meeting but we decided to stop with all the other things going on. I will make sure you're included.

Kurt

Hi all

Not urgent , however there are two cavities on Roland's shelf right now that from Gigi's message are planned for Grigory' s NBSN QCM Project

Current status, the initial CMM inspection is complete , but no surface finish checks made, Roland said he is done the RF - we have not been asked to do anything else at the moment

We notice that the cavity travelers are still in the C75 Traveler set , no cavity traveler appears under the NB3SN Project . We wondered if in the new year it should be planned to move them to the NB3SN Traveler type instead ?

It will involve a little work move all the data if this is what is decided -

Could you let us know how to proceed on this - also please let us know if added work is needed from CMM/Inspection

Thanks Anne

Subject: Re: Remaining C75 Cavities in the Tuning / CMM room

Hi Anne,

I believe #9 and #10 are the Nb3Sn coated cavities that will have to be assembled into a pair soon. I think they should be kept in the Test Lab.

Thanks,

Gigi
