Hi Pansophy Team
Not urgent - but something for your list in the new year
At present the data for these two cavities for NB3SN is located in the C75 Cavity travelers
Kurt Macha is planning a meeting in the new year to get this project re-started , so please be sure to ask whether we will continue to use the C75 travelers for cavities, Dog Legs and so on , or will be creating new travelers
At the moment there are no inspection travelers listed under NB3SN in the master traveler list
Thanks Anne

Hello Mike
So it looks like both Cav09 and Cav10 do not exist , and were replaced by
5C75-RI-nbsn1
5C75-RI-nbsn2
Could you please update the records in Prime's & Pansophy to reflect this
Thanks Anne

That's correct. They are 5C75-RI- NbSn1 and 5C75-RI- NbSn2.
Best,
Uttar

Anne,
To my knowledge the Nb3Sn cavity serial numbers are:
5C75-RI-nbsn1
5C75-RI-nbsn2
Uttar should be able to confirm this. Maybe Uttar can confirm that these were new cavities made for the Nb3Sn project by RI.

Hi Kurt
I am suspecting that Cav 9 and Cav 10 were replaced by 5C75-RI- NBSN1 and 5C75-RI- NBSN2
Do you know the history here ? I am only trying to locate all the cavities - and eliminate any duplicate Serial numbers in Pansophy
Do you have any of the back ground or know who I should ask ? ( Gigi told me that Cav 9 & 10 were Grigory's, but he was unaware of the NBSN SN s )
Thanks Anne

Anne,
I do not know if someone changed the serial number designations for these cavities.
Attached are the PRIMeS records for the receipt of the C75 cavity part number from RI. And the search results for the listed serial numbers in NBSN1 & C75 travelers.
Note that I saw no records for 5C75-RI-009.

Hi Mike
A question for you : could you confirm if the following two cavities might have been assigned a new serial number after they were assigned to Grigory's NB3SN Project ?
We find two cavities in the CMM room on Roland's shelf
- Cav 09 - also has the serial number 5C75-RI- NBSN1
- CAV 10 - also has the serial number 5C75-RI- NBSN2
In the meantime Kirks list in Docushare still has two cavities that I cannot find
- 5C75-RI- 09
- 5C75-RI- 10
I am guessing that they are the same cavities , just with a new S/N . Could you confirm what is the history on SN for these two cavities ?
Thanks Anne
