[Pansophy] feedthroughs

Thank You HyeKyoung.
The single page travelers can have checkboxes for “before/after” cold shock, or something along those lines. “initial/final” visual inspection. Etc.
Also, “cold shock” is a different activity from “rf”. Can a “general” cold shock traveler be put together? It could have what part, SN, parameters, etc.

So, maybe?
CMM/Visual INSP (initial/final checkbox)
Leak Check (before/after cold shock checkbox)
Cold Shock
RFIN

Hi!
I knew the purpose but I wasn't sure whether you want to apply that to every travelers. So I'll break them into the work center. In this case, I think

One traveler containing step 1 and 6
One 2 and 4
And lastly 3 and 5?

Thanks!
HyeKyoung

HyeKyoung,

The purpose is also to allow for those fluctuations as you just stated, “IF”. By having single page travelers, by work-centers, this allows the flexibility to do a test or not. And it puts the control of that choice in your hands. Also, each work-center is responsible for their own data/travelers. It removes the dependencies on certain persons to be responsible for everything, including ensuring data is entered, initiating travelers and closing travelers. It will also provide for better tracking of workflow and time.

If you have more questions, please email pansophy at jlab.org<mailto:pansophy at jlab.org>

Thank You!

Valerie

If you break in to work stations, the feedthru traveler case is,

1) QA

2) John Fischer's group (leak check)- if we do the pre-cold shock leak check

3) Danny's group (cold shock)

4) Fischer's group

5) Danny's group for rf check if we decided to do

5) back to QA for final check

I understand breaking up was brought by BLA case(it had inspection and assembly together). Both feedthru travelers are short. Maybe ask Aaron how he feels about that?

HyeKyoung, please go ahead and edit as you have time. The project is L2HE on travelers. Note that we are now breaking steps done by different work stations into different travelers, so there may be multiple short travelers, with separate ones for visual/CMM and leak and cold shock/VTA and RF checks. Megan/Valerie, do you have any further direction on the best way to break the travelers up?

Thanks,
Katherine

Hi!

I have a ton of time right now 🙂 I know HE travelers need a slight modification but not much. Do you have the traveler title convention?

HyeKyoung,

It sounds like the HOM/FP feedthrough inspection travelers might need some revision & updating for HE. Do you have time to do that? We hope to start inspecting feedthroughs as soon as we are back at work.

Thanks,
Katherine
