Just had a call from Naeem - he was asking what the process was for getting travelers approved (Guessing that Katherine must have let him know there were problems )

I told him that he needed a master traveler with due dates etc., and encouraged him to contact you

It seems that Megan's email the other day was the first time they realized there had been any changes to how to get things approved and into the system under Medcon

I think it would be useful if they had a process description so it is clear what they are responsible to do , perhaps with some trainings to include stuff like ...

-        Master traveler list with due dates

-        How to get parts into inventory so there are SNs

-        Once traveler is written that they must contact pansophy to get it into the system for approval (they don't' seem to realize that they must contact Pansophy - they think that if the draft is in Docushare they have done their job)

-        Follow up with approvers to get the approval ??


As an example I told Katherine and Naeem that last night Aaron was brings parts to Inventory for SNs  instead of doing inspections (as an example) ,

I have told Naeem, and Katherine that we cannot start an inspection until we know the traveler is in Pansophy, that it has SNs and that the parts are actually here - especially with folks working 2nd shift and weekends , so they seem motivated to correct the situation (this paret is good)

So my suggestions is you might want to consider some additional trainings, and explanation for how the master traveler list works  etc.

Anne,

Yes, we have been sitting on them because we have no timeline, master list of travelers, or priority.
Megan & Allen are working on them now. We didn't even know that the parts are here.
Did they go through inventory? They would need an INV traveler first.
And, I did ask Katherine a while ago about meeting to find out about HE... no response and no meeting

FYI- a Teams message from Katherine about the Feed thru - thought you might like to know

"From Katherine :  Just FYI, HyeKyoung's feedthrough inspection travelers have been in the Pansophy team's queue for months.  We seem to be having some hangups with the system sometimes.  I'm not sure why.  I messaged Megan, and she says she will put them in Pansophy today."
