Good morning,
My team will be building a harmonic Kicker copper cavity under project code JLECHK, organization SRFR&D. I have been working on a traveler (my first experience) using the guidelines in the beginning authorship 2015 ppt presentation. Last week, the copper parts and flanges arrived from the machine shop InSolves (Ohio) and are now in the SRF Storage room 2131.
I have discussed with Mike Dickey about what information he needs to check these items in the traveler system including a serial number for most of the copper parts and the appropriate traveler ID associated with this project. Because this project is not one of the more common projects at JLab, I did not see anything in the SN master list in appendix C that would match anything that I would want give these copper parts. Honestly, I am a little confused and need a little help to understand what the normal procedure is for building a cavity writing my traveler the right way and using the pansophy system.
I am planning to inspect most of the items myself with the laser scanner but I would like to give Mike all the information that he needs to check these items in as if they will go to inspection just incase we need to put them through that way.
Please contact me through teams or on my cell (336) 528-1580 at your earliest convenience and thank you for your patience. -Sarah Solomon
