[Pansophy] New Calibration Development - Questions about additional fields

HI all -
will leave it up to Larry to decide - it must be an older version of the CMM/Inspection register because in fact everything is up to date if you check the m drive
As already mentioned , it would be helpful to include the fields that Debbie needs for the shipping doc in a form that allows her to copy past it to the shipping doc. (rather than require all inmfrmation to be re typed) . With the current CMM register we can secepct a few of the columns and sed it to Debbie - this gives her everything she needs
The calibration register in pansophy include fields with required acronyms that are not defined - would be helpful to include the complete description also - in the meantime I guess the answer is "no" ?
Thanks
Anne

Larry ( and Anne),
I only put fields from Larry's original request shown below:
[cid:image003.jpg at 01D731D0.94329320]
Anne's file contains many more fields shown below:
[cid:image004.jpg at 01D731D0.94329320]
[cid:image005.jpg at 01D731D0.94329320]
Question: What fields, if any, should also be added to the Calibration database?

Also - will there be a field for work center (is this what is meant by "location?)

Attached is our current register for the Inspection Work Center - I copy pasted the Serial numbers , F tag etc. from our register in the to Pansophy data base, in case you want to see the original source
Also , there is no definition for what is meant by Critical MTE - so I put in "No" because I don't know what this means .... Most likely this relates to an item that is mandatory to be in calibration - if so then the answer should have been "yes"
Once there is a Calibration Procedure then it should be more clear what is meant by these abbreviations (unless you know already)
As mentioned earlier it would be helpful to allow for a secondary or back up "owner" , and a way to copy a line ver to an email to be sent to Debbie Griffith for when she prepares shipping documents on our behalf
Also it would save a lot of time if you added TRESCAL (formerly Accucal) to the calibrator companies - to avoid folks put it in more than once . This is the company that ES&H has set up to take care of most of our calibrations these days (through Mary Jo Bailey)

I put in 365 days to the next cal, which should mean the next cal will be in March 2022 , however the system is showing much sooner 14Dec-2021 ??
You might want to look at this also

Hello Valerie
I just tried to put in the CMM - however it was calibrated in March 2021, and the years available in the drop down only go to 2020
The Manufacturer and Calibrator is Hexagon - so I was able to use other
Also the CMM has two SN and two F numbers (has two sections)
Because the date was not available I am not submitting yet - if you could let me know when 2021 is available I can put in the information
Anne

Anne,
Mike and I have been working on the security keys in https://pansophydev.jlab.org/pansophydev
I think you should now be able to log in there and select "Facilities" on the Main Menu
Then select "Calibrations" in the top menu bar.
Let me know if you can there, please.
Valerie

Hi Valerie -
Not sure if I am allowed access - however I could not find it
Assume I should go to the Main Menu - and in the past I used to be able to see calibration (but right now cannot see it on the list )

Looks like an access or a link issue. When I mouse over main>facilities, it shows the facilities url in the lower left, but when I click on it the url doesn't change. I stay on https://pansophydev.jlab.org/pansophydev/index.cfm.

Jacob,
I forgot I'm still working on the new security keys in the pansophydev area.
Go to the pansophydev area and log in...
https://pansophydev.jlab.org/pansophydev/
Under "Main Menu" select -> Facilities
You should see the "Calibration" button in the upper menu, select.
Let me know if you see anything. You don't have any parts yet but you should be able to create one and look through the Calibrators and Manufacturers that I carried over.

Hi Valerie,
The link doesn't send me to calibrations. And when I look in the Facilities menu, I also don't see anything for calibration. Is there a breadcrumb trail I am missing?

Larry,
I have been working on the calibration upgrades in our development environment.
Would you please test and look around to see what doesn't work and where additional changes are needed.
This is in our development area, so database is cleared for calibration, start by adding an instrument and go from there.
https://pansophydev.jlab.org/pansophydev/Facilities/index.cfm
Anne,
Your spreadsheet from SRFPJS instruments has several additional columns not on Larry's original list.
Please confirm with Larry what should be added and let me know what changes I should make.
Anne/Jacob,
You can create instruments and test in the development area as well. Comments appreciated.
Thanks!
