[Pansophy] AUP Project Travelers (Modifying travelers without Author?) (ISO Compliance of WCDs)

Naeem,

Thank you for the clarification. And yes, at least 1 work-center should be included in the review process.
Allen is routing now for approval and will put into production.
I will find the Traveler Authorship/Revision Control and send that out.
Thank You so much for your help!

Subject: Re: AUP Project Travelers (Modifying travelers without Author?) (ISO Compliance of WCDs)

Hi Valerie,

Matt initially wrote these travelers and has since moved on to other projects. I am the lead for AUP and also the only person permanently assigned to this project. Matt hasn't been working on the project for a while but I kept him on the review list since he was the original author. All future revisions to the travelers will be from me (unless Matt is brought back on).

The nature of the project means that travelers cover several workstation, but generally center around one; I leave the lead for that workcenter on the signature list.

Are the correct protocols published somewhere, or is there a link on the pansophy page?

Thanks,
Naeem

Thank You Matt.

Do you know who will be doing this work that may need to be informed of changes or be a reviewer?

Hi Valerie,

to partially answer this, I'm aware of the changes and approve of them.

Thanks,

Naeem,

I am a little confused. I have spoken with Allen and it appears that you are re-writing travelers originally written by Matt Weaks. I don't know who all is involved in the project, but we normally don't just change authors/reviewers/etc without the Author's knowledge and approval.

I want to make sure we are doing the correct thing....

  1. Does Matt Weaks know about the changes and is he okay with them?
  2. Are you the Lead Project Manager?
  3. Who else needs to know about changes (techs/ work center leads)?

With ISO coming quickly, we need to be sure we are following proper protocol as called out by traveler authorship.

Naeem,

The current version of AUP-ASSY-DAMP-FLGBRZ-R2 was sent on the 16th. Ergo if this is a new traveler, I will need to terminate the routing and upload the newest R2 version for approvals.

Hi Allen,

Sorry for the confusion. The version in the ready for approvals right now is the latest one; I put in the new version today. There are some new steps at the end and links in the front page. Was this already sent for signatures?

Thanks,

Naeem
