Good morning Valerie,

Yes absolutely we can meet. I would like to involve Eric and Uttar. I could do Thursday morning.
Flexibilty in data entry while maintaining some automation is key for the system to be a useful and perene tool
Our group deals with multiple programs that have different data requirements.

Thanks,

Anne-Marie

Subject: SamTraxs requirements, requests, upgrades

Anne-Marie,

I have been working with some College students over the past year to revive the SamTraxs project area.

They have accomplished the following:

  * Setup new database ‘base tables”
  * Created access forms to enter data and retrieve data from the base tables
  * Started access to EDX data (from Josh) - still need equations and report information to complete
  * Read/access old data from first version SamTraxs

I would like to meet with you (or whomever will lead this project) to discuss future requirements/request/upgrades to make SamTraxs a useable system again for the Thin Films / Material Sciences group.

When you have time may we setup a meeting to discuss?
