Mircea,

Unfortunately MS Excel doesn’t always play nice with data. Because the serial number had an ‘E’, excel assumed an exponential number. We currently don’t have the resources to update our grids and export functions, but we hope to soon. Hopefully by changing the format of the cells it will come back to a serial number.

As for the duplication of the FPCSN’s between string 1 & 2... That is a question for Kirk/Danny.

Thanks for your help and understanding.

Dear Val, Megan, Allen and Mike

Had a some surprises while data mining some SNS PPU data: there are two strings and, on cavity 2, on both of them, the same coupler is recorded. The travelers are closed... anyhow we can solve this issue: the strings are no more in the clean room, we can read directly the SN, open the affected traveler and make the correction. See this screen copy and pay attention to Cav2 (19E004) or Cav1 (19E003):

OK, now lets open this data as an Excel 2001 file and check the readings for Serial Numbers:

Seems to be exported in Scientific Format and.. quite difficult to recognize the initial Japanese serial number stamped for these parts. Just wander how this issue can be fixed. You can also practice doing data mining on SNSPPU-INV-FP (please, please simle !):

Take care and be safe,

Mircea

P.S.Have a great weekend.
