Naeem,
I can get the INV traveler ready soon.
Can you confirm the receipt of this shipment at S&R? Please provide PO info, S&R tracking number, vendor name, etc.?
We haven’t seen these yet and if they are here, I would like to find them and check them in.

Hi Mike,
Any progress on this inventory traveler? We are expecting parts in S&R today, though they probably won't get to you till Monday. I'm sharing an OneDrive folder with you and Calvin which has photos of the crate and how the parts are packed.
Thanks,
Naeem

Hi Mike,
The parts in each kit don't need to be individually checked in to the inventory. Each shipment will come with 8 boxed kits (each is one FPCWGSN). For one out of the eight boxes, would you be able to open the box and physically make sure each part is present? A comment in the INV traveler that this was done would suffice
Thanks,
Naeem

Naeem,
We can inventory all of the parts, if needed. Would a sample of 2-3 random counts suffice, or will 100% be required?

Hi Mike,
The first 8 kits are due to arrive on Friday. There is one extra part in the HE list that wasn't there in the L2 list. When you do the INV traveler, do you physically check that the parts are present in the kit, or just rely on the packing list?
Thanks,
Naeem

Naeem,
We have not worked on L2HE-INV-FPCWG travelers yet.
Looking at the L2PRD-CAV-RECV-FPCWG, the packing list has all the parts listed below for the shipment (8 sets).
We will conduct a physical inventory when these parts arrive, but I would rather maintain usage of the standard receiving traveler as-is.

Hi Mike,
Does the INV traveler for these parts already include a check that all the parts in the BOM are in the box? If not, could you add something like the following:

Thanks,

Hi Naeem,
I will get SA-375-600-90 setup as the part number, but I would rather keep FPCWG as the acronym. Pansophy uses both the Project and the Acronym to look up serial numbers. That is why we can have many cavities with SN 001 in various projects. The same will be true if we use FPCWG for ALL Waveguide Box Kits.

Hi Mike,
This version of the drawing doesn't correspond to our parts anymore, and we won't have a revised version. As such, we'll use the part number for waveguide box (SA-375-600-90) to define each kit. The serial numbers will start from 001 again, so lets change the acronym to FPWVG to be safe.
Does that work?
Thanks,
Naeem

Naeem,
Here is a copy of the Waveguide Box Assy drawing. This is what we referenced for L2PRD.

Subject: FPC Waveguide Parts
Hi Mike,
We will be starting to receive HE FPC Waveguides near the end of the month. Each shipment, or "Lot", of waveguides will consist of 8 pre-boxed kits. Each kit contains the following:

Part Name
Drawing Number

COAX GASKET RING

The serial number scheme for all parts is:
XXXXXXXXXX_R_SSS
Where:
XXXXXXXXXX =
Part Number
R =
Drawing Revision
SSS =
Serial number of the part
For Example:
The ninth “Waveguide Box” (SA-375-600-90 Rev-06) fabricated shall be marked:
SA-375-600-90_06_009
All parts except the hardware will have a serial number; some will only have them on the bags, and not engraved.
Each kit will be referred to by the part and serial number of the WAVEGUIDE ASSEMBLY. The inspections will be done on the kits and not on the parts. The acronym will be FPCWG (this is the same as was done for L2, I'm not sure if that is an issue). An inventory traveler will need to be started by the end of the month.
We will receive 88 kits in total. Each CM will require 8 kits configured as they are when they arrive in their boxes. The incoming inspections related to the kits will be carried out once the kits are issued to the CMA group
The drawings and the SOW are attached. The latter goes over how shipping boxes will be labeled etc.
Please let me know what else we need to get started on these parts.
Thanks,
Naeem
